(More customer reviews)I always thought dust-mite-proof bedding had to be plastic and crinkly, like a child's waterproof mattress cover. But Allersoft proved me wrong. Plastic-free, but woven tightly enough to keep dust mites out, it's just like a nice cotton cover. Or cotton blend. Whatever it is.
How well did it work? I was doubtful, so I ordered only a few pillow covers. I was surprised the next morning to find my respiratory system significantly happier than it had been in months. My nose was clear. And I didn't spend the first 15 minutes awake sneezing. I'm sure this cuts down on the snoring, also, because it helps eliminate the allergy-caused inflammation of the airways that contributes to snoring. Very pleased!
I just finished ordering Allersoft coverings for all of our bedding: pillows, mattresses, box springs and comforters. We are one happy family now.
